Our increased health budget allocation demonstrates this resolve to expand access and improve quality of care across the state. Initiatives like developing state-specific Standard Treatment Guidelines are timely and critical for creating an equitable cancer care ecosystem,” said Shri Gajendra Singh Khimsar.Deliberations during the workshop covered key areas including early detection and screening programs, access to advanced therapies such as immuno-oncology and precision medicine, sustainable financing mechanisms through schemes like Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY and Mukyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana (MAA Yojana), and the vital role of public-private partnerships in bridging existing gaps.Experts at the workshop emphasized the need for greater emphasis on public-private partnerships to effectively address existing gaps in cancer care pathways, development of a robust referral mechanism in the state based on the capabilities and infrastructure available in both public and private sectors, and establishment of state-specific Standard Treatment Protocols for cancer care to ensure uniformity and better patient outcomes across all levels of healthcare.Major General Subhash Pareek (Retd.), Executive Director, BMCHRC, emphasized the need for strong institutional collaboration, stating that building an effective cancer care ecosystem requires a unified, patient-centric approach rooted in clinical excellence and standardized practices.Dr. Monika Puri, CCO, Roche, underscored the value of adopting global best practices and robust implementation frameworks.“Bringing the best of innovations in immuno-oncology and precision medicine has limited value if they do not reach the right patient at the right time. Mumbai : Against
the backdrop of Valentine’s Day, Priya Kakade has urged citizens to remain
cautious amid rising cases of relationship disputes, digital affairs, and
matrimonial fraud. “If you feel suspicious in a relationship, instead of
engaging in direct confrontation or making decisions driven by emotions, it is
essential to verify the truth through legal and practical means,” she said.

 

Recent shocking incidents have unsettled
society. In the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case in Indore, it was revealed that
the wife had allegedly orchestrated the crime. Similarly, in the murder case of
Saurabh Rajput, who was serving in the Merchant Navy, his wife and her alleged
lover were arrested. These incidents have underscored the seriousness of
extramarital relationships and digital affairs.

 

Digital affairs, online chatting, social media
connections, and relationships formed through dating apps are increasing
rapidly. Affordable internet and widespread smartphone use have made it easier
to connect with strangers. While some relationships remain limited to online
flirting, others evolve into emotional attachments, leading to in-person
meetings and even financial transactions. In such situations, cases of honey
traps, financial fraud, and blackmail are also on the rise.

 

Kakade stated that certain signs of suspicious
behavior should not be ignored. Sudden behavioral changes, hiding mobile
phones, coming home late under the pretext of work, and frequent chatting with
unknown individuals may indicate potential risks. However, she emphasized that
instead of making allegations based solely on suspicion, one should conduct
preliminary verification before taking further steps.

 

“It is important to choose a reliable and
legally operating detective agency. Ensure confidentiality before sharing
information. Collecting digital evidence such as photos, chats, and call logs
can be helpful. However, avoid emotional decisions and act only after verifying
the truth,” Kakade clarified.

 

She also warned about fraud occurring through
matrimonial websites. A recent case in Pune involved a young IT engineer who
was cheated of lakhs of rupees. Under the pretext of marriage and citing
financial difficulties, the accused extorted a large sum and later absconded.
In such cases, police often treat them as family matters with limited
intervention, making thorough background verification before marriage
essential, she said.

 

Meanwhile, there has also been an increase in
inquiries from parents seeking to monitor the behavior of their children who
have come to Pune for education. Kakade mentioned that parents from various
states have approached her agency to gather information regarding their
children’s company, substance abuse, or risky behavior.

 

Through her organization, Swift Detective and
Investigation, she claims to have handled over 1,085 cases since 2006. The
agency collects evidence in cases related to extramarital affairs, financial
fraud, corporate investigations, and pre-matrimonial verification, assisting in
legal proceedings.

 

On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, she
emphasized that while celebrating love, priority should be given to trust,
transparency, and responsibility. “Love may be blind, but do not make blind
decisions,” was the message conveyed by Priya Kakade.

Not warnings about what might go wrong, but a framework for what could go right. Not limitations on capability, but redirection of purpose. <description><![CDATA[  The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) released findings of Independent Drive Test (IDT) conducted by its Regional office Jaipur across Kota City &amp; Bandikui-Bharatpur-Kota Rail Route (In Rajasthan LSA), during the month of July 2025,  for information of  general telecom consumers.
These IDT  have been designed to capture   real-world mobile network performance  of all Telecom Service Providers (TSPs) across diverse usages environment –Urban zones, hotspots, public transport hubs,  etc. In this type of Drive testing, live data and voice sessions are established using SIM cards from all TSPs over 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks. Multiple advanced test handsets are used and the sessions are monitored and analysed in real-time using advanced Software Systems. The data collected during the drive test is further analysed using specialized tools, and the final report is prepared based on this analysis.
TRAI, through its appointed agency, conducted detailed drive tests across city drive of 310.5 Kms, 10 Hotspot locations, Walk Test of 1.1 Km in Kota city and Railway route of 386.6 km from Bandikui to Bharatpur to Kota during 01-07-2025 to 05-07-2025 in Rajasthan LSA. These tests were conducted under the supervision of the TRAI Regional Office, Jaipur
During the IDT, various Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of Mobile Network for Voice as well as Data service were assessed for all Telecom Service Providers operating in the region. A summary of findings is given as below:

India: Gleeden, the world’s largest
extramarital dating app, made by women for women, recently achieved the
milestone of acquiring 3 million users in India. Launched in India in 2017,
Gleeden has been highly popularized in the Indian market to become the go-to platform
for individuals looking for discreet extramarital affairs. To celebrate this
achievement, Gleeden conducted a nationwide survey, to understand the
continuously changing status of relationships, focusing on how GenZ,
Millennials and GenX individuals feel about love and marriage.

This is the third survey of its kind that has been
conducted by one of the leading global market research organizations, IPSOS, on
behalf of Gleeden and focuses on love, marriage, and infidelity trends among
three generations who have deeply embedded India’s socio-cultural thinking in
themselves. The survey was conducted
among 1,510 individuals, both men and women, who are aged between 18-60 years
and living in 12 tier-1 Indian cities (Delhi, Jaipur, Ludhiana, Kolkata, Patna,
Guwahati, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Indore, Bangalore, Hyderabad &amp; Kochi), and
tier-2 cities (Jaipur, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Gurugram, Indore, Noida, Surat,
Nagpur, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal)

The focus of
the study was to understand the changing perception of infidelity among GenZ,
Millennials and GenX, and the emerging trends that are changing their
understanding of love &amp; marriages.

seen on our platform - Indians of all ages are beginning to challenge tradition
and seek relationships that fit their changing emotional realities. As the

understand and embrace societal changes in an authentic way, and on their own

The survey paints a detailed description of how Indians
perceive relationships and the challenges these have to face in order stay
healthy and happy, including infidelity, and how the different generations have
been shifting opinion and mindsets over the past few years. It revealed that 33% of the total respondents feel that work-life
balance and lack of quality time with family is a major challenge that leads
them towards infidelity. The millennials (42%) make up the major part of these
respondents, who are interestingly also part of the current workforce, whereas
GenX (27%) and GenZ (31%) respondents also provide major backing in this
aspect.

Despite affirming to feel very happy and sexually
satisfied in their current relationships, over half of the total respondents (51%), say that they lack any emotional connection
with their partners, whereas 42% and 38% respectively highlight that lack of
excitement &amp; thrill, and physical intimacy is why they are indulging in
infidelity. The GenX (55%) are the major
voices who do not have any emotional connection with their partners, whereas
49% of GenZ say that they are not satisfied with the physical intimacy that
they have currently. 54% of GenX respondents say that they frequently have
thoughts of exploring connections beyond their relationships, with 44% of GenZ
and 39% of millennials having the same opinion.

Furthermore, the
survey also reveals that both men (43%) and women (42%) have not stopped there,
and therefore engaged in either physical and emotional infidelity Out of them,
GenX (52%) leads the charts in having been part of both emotional and physical
infidelity, followed by GenZ (41%) and Millennials (36%). The studies also
reveal that 62% of millennials are more receptive to understanding the reason
behind infidelity before making any decisions, followed by GenZ (50%), instead
of looking to end the relationship abruptly. 

Additionally, the study shows that Indians today are more
receptive towards using infidelity as a tool to stay emotionally fulfilled in a
relationship. 58% of the respondents say
that they are open to infidelity if it helped them stay emotionally fulfilled,
whereas 45% are of the opinion that it could also reignite passion in stagnant
marriages. Overall, a staggering 45% believe that infidelity can sometimes save
a relationship, out of which 47% are married individuals. 50% of GenX
respondents also reveal that humankind is not made for monogamy, with 41% of
the GenZ and 37% of Millennials sharing the same opinion. 63% of GenX and
Millennials also reiterated that societal pressure forces people to stay
monogamous, while 59% of the GenZ share the same opinion. 

But the most
striking finding from this part of the research is that men and women share
virtually identical views on the subject: 62% of women and 61% of men believe
that humans are not wired for monogamy — a model ultimately imposed by
centuries of ossified social norms.” Overall, 61% of the respondents agree on
this aspect, highlighting societal pressure as a major decision-maker in
Indians’ relationships. 

Finally, 41% of the
respondents revealed that they are receptive to their partners suggesting an
open relationship, while 35% admitted that they are already part of one. 68% of
the respondents also pointed towards social media as the major enabler of
infidelity, citing that it offers more opportunities. 64% of the respondents
also admitted that they flirt on social media platforms despite being in a
relationship, out of which 49% of the GenX respondents say that they do it
frequently. 

The survey was conducted in May 2025 by IPSOS on behalf
of Gleeden, with the objective of understanding how love and relationships are
changing among GenX, Millennials and GenZ Indians, and how their opinions have
shifted over the last years. The results have since indicated that more Indians
are opening up towards the notion of infidelity as an enabler for emotional
availability and happiness and are more receptive towards meeting new people.

official state visit of H.E.
Mr. Gabriel Boric, President of the Republic of Chile, to India
concluded in Bangalore with the signing of two strategic agreements aimed at
deepening collaboration in innovation, entrepreneurship, and start-up
ecosystems between the two nations.

During his week-long
visit, President Boric toured Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore, with the final leg
of the trip culminating in a series of high-level engagements in India’s
technology capital. In Bangalore, the President visited Chaman Bhartiya School,
where he interacted with students and educators to learn about their pioneering
education practices and innovative projects.

Accompanied by a
high-level delegation comprising Chilean government officials, business
leaders, and representatives from leading tech start-ups, President Boric
participated in a roundtable discussion with key stakeholders from Karnataka’s
innovation ecosystem. Participants included senior officials from the
Department of Electronics, IT, Biotechnology, and Science &amp; Technology, as
well as leaders from incubators, accelerators, and venture capital
organizations.

A key highlight of the
visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the India SME Forum and ProChile,
Chile’s export promotion agency. The agreement aims to facilitate the exchange
of information, joint participation in events, and the promotion of
collaboration between innovation ecosystems in both countries—particularly in
the fields of biotech, climatech, healthtech, and edtech.

Mr. Vinod Kumar,
President of the India SME Forum, remarked, “This MoU formalizes the mutual
intent to enhance trade relations and foster people-to-people connections
between our two nations. Chile presents a strategic gateway for Indian
entrepreneurs into Latin American markets, while India offers Chilean start-ups
access to one of the world’s most dynamic and populous consumer bases.”

He further added, “With
over 1.2 million members, the India SME Forum is enthusiastic about pursuing
cross-border opportunities in technology, trade, investment, and
entrepreneurship in Chile.”

Mr. Ignacio Fernández,
Director General of ProChile, expressed optimism about the partnership,
stating, “We are proud to showcase not only Chilean agri-food products but also
the robust innovation and technology ecosystem we’ve built. There is immense
potential for start-ups from both nations to collaborate in addressing global
challenges such as climate change, healthcare innovation, renewable energy, and
financial technologies.”

Chile-India bilateral
trade reached an all-time high in 2023, with Chilean exports to India totaling
over USD 2.5 billion. While copper and agri-food products continue to dominate
trade, the agreements signed during the visit underscore both countries’
commitment to diversifying areas of cooperation.

President Boric also
attended the Chile-India Innovation Summit on Sunday in Bangalore. The event
brought together Minister Priyank Kharge and Dr. Ekroop Caur of the Government
of Karnataka’s Department of Electronics, IT, Biotechnology, and Science &amp;
Technology, along with business leaders from both countries. The summit
featured start-up pitch sessions and highlighted new opportunities for
bilateral innovation partnerships.

In another significant
development, CORFO—Chile’s national economic development agency—signed an MoU
with the Bangalore-based Global Innovation Alliance, becoming the first Latin
American institution to formalize such a partnership.

President Boric
concluded the visit by reaffirming Chile’s commitment to expanding ties with
Indian start-ups and SMEs.

“We see tremendous
value in working closely with India’s vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem,” he said.
Mr. Kumar added in closing, “We are honored by President Boric’s invitation to
lead an exploratory delegation of Indian entrepreneurs and start-ups to Chile.
We look forward to fostering strong commercial ties and supporting Chilean

initiative aims to bridge the demand-supply gap in plant-based 
nutraceuticals, phytoceuticals, and phytopharmaceuticals while aligning 
with Herbalife’s broader innovation and sustainability
 goals.
10th February 2025, National: Herbalife,
 a premier health and wellness company, community and platform signed an
 agreement with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras to 
establish the
Herbalife-IITM Plant Cell Fermentation Technology Lab at the campus under Herbalife’s CSR initiative. The agreement signing ceremony took place at IIT Madras in the presence of
Mr. Ajay Khanna, Managing Director, Herbalife India, and Prof. Ashwin Mahalingam, Dean - Alumni &amp; Corporate Relations, IIT Madras
and other IITM representing members.
This partnership aligns with the Indian 
government&#039;s Bio-E3 policy, aimed at establishing India as a global hub 
for bio-manufacturing and advancing Prime Minister’s vision of
Atmanirbhar Bharat. The lab will serve as a catalyst for 
innovation, capacity building, and industry collaboration in the 
wellness sector while also fostering entrepreneurship.
The Centre of Excellence – Herbalife Plant Cell 
Fermentation Technology Lab, is focused on pioneering sustainable 
solutions for high-quality herbal raw materials and phytochemicals. The 
facility will be a center to produce sustainable herbal
 raw materials using plant cell fermentation technology, ensuring 
high-quality phytochemicals and drive innovation in nutraceuticals, 
cosmeceuticals, and Ayush formulations, contributing directly to the UN 
Sustainable Development Goals (SDG3 - Good Health &amp;
 Well-Being).
The collaborative effort will leverage plant cell 
technology to enable vitro cultivation of medicinal plants under 
controlled conditions, ensuring year-round availability, purity, and 
bioactive consistency. In addition to this, Advanced
 bioreactor-based scaling will facilitate large-volume production in 
minimal space, overcoming land constraints and long harvesting cycles 
associated with traditional farming and the green extraction 
technologies will drive sustainability in bioactive compound
 production.
The Plant Cell Fermentation Technology Lab predominantly has 5 key focus areas,
Innovative Research to handle R&amp;D, translational research, and blue-sky projects;
Sustainable Biomanufacturing to handle the scalable plant cell fermentation for herbal extracts;
Technology-Driven Solutions in the silico screening for phytochemical discovery and repurposing;
Conservation Efforts in the production of somatic embryos and plant materials for field cultivation of endangered medicinal species; and
Ecosystem Engagement to support hackathons as well as accelerator programs to drive innovation.
Mr. Ajay Khanna, Managing Director, Herbalife India, said,
